Privacy Policy
Last updated: [Effective date]
This policy explains what connectMate (“we”, run by [Company legal name]) collects when you use it, why, and what you can do about it. connectMate keeps records in sync between apps you connect — Airtable, Webflow and Google Sheets.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and password. The password is stored only as a salted hash; we never see it.
- Connected accounts: the access tokens for the Airtable, Webflow and Google accounts you connect, and a label such as the account’s email. Tokens are encrypted before they are stored.
- Your connections: which base, table, site, collection or sheet each connection uses, its field mapping and settings.
- Sync records: which record in one app is linked to which in the other, a fingerprint of each record’s last synced values (used to detect changes), a list of recent activity and of records that failed to sync.
- Sign-in sessions: a cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The data you sync
To sync, connectMate reads records from one app and writes them to the other, as your connections tell it to. Record contents pass through our systems while a sync runs; we do not keep a copy of your records beyond the fingerprints above, and we do not use them for anything else.
Images and files are copied to our file storage so the receiving app can fetch them, because the source app’s links expire. A copy can be reached by anyone who has its address while it is stored, and is deleted once the receiving app no longer needs it, when the record is deleted, or when you delete every item synced by a connection.
Why we use it
- To run the syncs you set up, show their progress and report problems.
- To keep your account secure (for example, limiting repeated failed logins).
- To answer you when you contact support.
Who processes it
connectMate runs on Cloudflare (Workers, storage and databases), which stores and processes the data above on our behalf. Data is sent to Airtable, Webflow and Google only as your connections direct. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account and connection data is kept while your account exists. Activity entries are kept for a limited number of recent events. When a connection is deleted, its sync records go with it. To delete your account and everything in it, write to support@example.com; we confirm once it is done.
Your rights
You can see and change your account details on the Profile page, remove connected accounts on the Settings page, and ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your data, by writing to support@example.com. You can also revoke connectMate’s access from within Airtable, Webflow or Google at any time.
Security
Connections to connectMate are encrypted (HTTPS). Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Each account sees only its own connections and connected accounts.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above, and tell you by email when a change is significant.
